Three things we do differently.
Not All Toothpaste Is Created Equal

What is nano-hydroxyapatite (nHa) and how does it work? 🦷
Nano-hydroxyapatite (nHa) is a form of calcium phosphate — the same mineral your tooth enamel is made of. When you brush, nHa particles bond to the tooth surface and support remineralization by replenishing what enamel is actually composed of. It's been widely studied and used in dental care across Japan and Europe for decades. Our formula uses 10% nHa, one of the highest concentrations available in any consumer toothpaste.
How is Mouthology different from other toothpastes? 🪥
Most toothpastes use fluoride. Mouthology uses (nano)hydroxyapatite — the same mineral your teeth are already made of. No warning labels, safe if swallowed.
Most hydroxyapatite brands use a 2–3% concentration. Our adult formula uses 10% nano-hydroxyapatite, our kids formula uses 5% hydroxyapatite — both higher than what you'll find from competitors, and each formulated for the right stage of enamel development.

Why Families Are Choosing Hydroxyapatite Over Fluoride
Here's what hydroxyapatite does that your drugstore toothpaste can't

Fills Microscopic Enamel Damage*
Hydroxyapatite is the same mineral your teeth are made of. It penetrates deep into enamel cracks and weak spots, literally rebuilding tooth structure at the molecular level.

Safe If Swallowed
Fluoride toothpaste comes with a poison control warning for a reason. Hydroxyapatite is biocompatible — it's already in your teeth and bones. No warning labels, no panic if your toddler swallows a little extra.

Strengthens Enamel With Every Brush*
Your enamel can't grow back on its own — but hydroxyapatite helps rebuild it. That's why it works for growing teeth that need protection and aging teeth that need extra support.

Glad I found a toothpaste for my kids that is nontoxic with clean ingredients. I like the effectiveness it has on teeth with enamel and cavity protection while being sensitive to my kiddos baby teeth and growing adult teeth. My kids like the tastes. I got this in the mint version too.

My son uses this, and hasn’t gone back to anything else. Gets in the gums and cleans all the dirt out! Great value on money, and has last us awhile.

Tastes great and doesn't have the chemicals! Since learning how bad fluoride is for kids and adults, I had to find a tooth paste that encouraged my grand daughter’s to brush longer and the Mouthology Hydroxyapatite watermelon is a hit, she brushes longer and more often!
Questions? We've Got Answers.
Everything you need to know before making the switch.
Why is the kids’ toothpaste 5% while the adult formula is 10%?
This is intentional and science-backed!
Children’s teeth are different: Baby teeth and developing permanent teeth have thinner enamel and different remineralization needs than fully mature adult teeth. A 5% concentration supports enamel while being appropriately gentle for developing smiles.
Kids don’t need the higher concentration that adults benefit from for more mature, heavily used enamel.
Same powerful ingredient, optimized for their stage of development.
Why is 10% better than 2-3%?
Research on nano-hydroxyapatite uses concentrations of 10% or higher. At 2-3%, you might get a smooth feeling, but you're not getting the deep remineralization that repairs enamel damage. It's like taking half a dose of medicine, it won't work the same way. We use the recommended concentration.
What makes your nano-hydroxyapatite different?
Two things: concentration and shape. We use 10% (most brands use 2-3%), AND our particles are rod-shaped—not spherical. Why does shape matter? Rod-shaped nHA mimics natural enamel structure, so it integrates with your teeth instead of just coating the surface. Think of it like LEGO bricks that lock together vs. marbles that roll off. Our particles bond and rebuild.
What is xylitol and why do you include it?
Xylitol is a natural sweetener that cavity-causing bacteria can't use as fuel. So while nano-hydroxyapatite rebuilds your enamel, xylitol helps create an environment where harmful bacteria can't thrive. Natural sweetness without artificial ingredients.
How is this different from fluoride?
Fluoride creates a hard outer shell (fluorapatite) on your teeth. Nano-hydroxyapatite is bioidentical to your enamel, it integrates and rebuilds from within. Plus, it's safe for pregnant mothers, young children, and anyone avoiding fluoride.
Where is this made?
We are proudly made in the USA with the highest manufacturing standards. We use precision temperature-controlled processes to prevent nHA particles from clumping (a common problem when brands use standard cosmetic production).
What if I don't like it?
60-day money-back guarantee. If you're not impressed with the results, we'll refund your order, no questions asked. We're that confident. Just reach out to our team and we'll take care of you.
